In the world of high-end interiors, finding a furniture and design resource capable of outfitting a 9,400-square-foot modern residence within a mere two months is a rarity. At Cantoni, such challenges are met with enthusiasm and expertise. When the developers and architect of an opulent Beverly Hills home visited Cantoni’s Irvine showroom, design consultant Richard Bustos was delighted to guide them through an exquisite collection and sophisticated staging program. The clients, in search of furnishings that would accentuate the home's grandeur, were captivated by Cantoni’s curated selection and extensive resources, leading to a seamless and inspired partnership.

Alongside Richard’s expertise, the team worked with Lime Decor + Design, a local interior design firm that was instrumental in bringing the client’s vision to life. With the tight deadline to complete the home in a matter of weeks, the team devised a communication process that would seamlessly take them from concept to completion. This was accomplished with the help of Richard, who made the entire experience fun and productive by presenting impactful options that were either in stock or available in a short lead time. Richard’s selections were reviewed by the team and final decisions were locked in.

“The home is so beautifully designed, it’s hard to pick one particular space as a favorite,” said Richard. “Lime Decor + Design is a top-notch interior design firm and their design capabilities made it so that every room has its own personality.” In this, we can agree wholeheartedly with Richard. A unique personality can be seen everywhere you look in a modern marvel of this magnitude, starting in the great room. The space is decked out with luxury furnishings that look out onto the rolling green hills of Beverly Hills and the dining space beyond, providing an open-air experience that supports great moments of conviviality.

Cantoni’s expansive portfolio allowed for richness to be brought into the dining space with handcrafted Italian designs. Their inviting designs bring a warmth to the space that is also seen in the warm-toned counter stools that provide the perfect place for a quick bite when formal dining isn’t necessary.

For more casual relaxation, the family room is a great option to unwind. With pieces from various sought-after collections, it’s a testament to Cantoni’s prowess and Richard’s determination that comfort and style can be found in a breathtaking room such as this in the two-month time frame that was allotted. The sectional offers customized comfort with its moveable backrests, which can easily slide from a forward to a back position. Its neutral coloring complements beautifully with the beautifully appointed accent chairs. The cocktail and accent table finishes off the look with a sleekness that contrasts beautifully with the otherwise organic nature that the rest of the space provides.

The two guest bedrooms offer a respite that rivals the comfort and style a five-star resort might provide. With a great inventory of in-stock options to choose from, the first bedroom was decked out in a light and bright color palette while the second delivers a more natural approach. With its skyline views, the master bedroom is everything one could want in a modern home. The walnut framed bed looks toward the expansive balcony and is flanked by matching nightstands, also in beautifully grained walnut wood.

But what really makes this home stand out is its downstairs suite. Perfect for an extended stay from family members or friends, the suite offers almost everything one might need, with a small sitting area and even a built-in kitchen space.

The home’s outdoor space completes the quintessential style found in Beverly Hills, with living and dining spaces that make watching the California sunrise or sunset a breeze. And what a great way to start (or end) one’s day in such a way, in a magnificent home that is the epitome of luxury living.

And while Richard and the Lime Decor + Design team’s hard work clearly paid off, there’s also another behind-the-scenes team to thank: Cantoni’s fabulous logistics team. Without their dedication and hard work with delivery and installation, the quick turnaround time would have been a daunting task indeed.

“I really enjoyed the challenge of working on a project of this magnitude, in a collaborated fashion with a short time frame,” said Richard. “Cantoni has all the resources to complete these kinds of projects. We have the design support, a huge amount of inventory, the ability to import furniture from around the world, and a seamless logistics operation that can get whatever we have in stock in about a week’s time. In this industry, that’s huge.”

This remarkable home was sold by The Altman Brothers, a Los Angeles based luxury real estate agency that is consistently shattering records across the globe and ranking within the top 1% of real estate agents throughout the world. They are best known for Bravo’s hit TV show, Million Dollar Listing.

You can also view the home on Netflix’s hit series, Selling Sunset. Check out Richard Bustos’ and Lime Decor + Design's phenomenal work in Season 7, Episode 1, titled ‘The Real Estate Apocalypse’, which premiered on November 3, 2023.
