Emery Leather:

Experts select only the hides of cattle originating from European pastures. The animals' origin and rearing methods represent a guarantee as to the quality of the hide obtained: European cattle are on average larger at the origin and their hides provide especially integral and compact leathers which may feature near-zero flaws. Do remember, however, that small differences in the grain, porosity or color are a guarantee of the naturalness of the product purchased and are therefore an added value. After the selection phase, the hides are tanned, stained and treated using the most sophisticated methods to achieve a soft top-quality leather. The Nubuck leather selected by Bonaldo is especially fine, as it is treated using technical processes that allow the utmost resistance to rubbing and light to be achieved, as well as good water-repellency. Emery-leather is also among the upholsteries available: this material is obtained from the thicker portion of the bovine skin, making it possible to pick a practical and wraparound upholstery without having to forego a quality raw material.

Care and maintenance: Use only a damp cloth to clean leather and emery leather. If the covering has been stained do not insist on cleaning since it might be damaged irreparably.
