Each Miren Itxaso® sculpture is uniquely handmade, and therefore perfectly imperfect. It is common to find minor scratches, dents, or scars on your Miren piece, which are considered part of the artwork’s unique characteristics. Miren also utilizes different painting processes and will use a special primer depending on indoor or outdoor placement. 

Handling Instructions: 

All Sculptures come packed in a steel crate. After the crate is removed the sculpture MUST be moved by the base, putting no stress on the metal sculpture itself.

Care and Cleaning:

• Clean the surface of your sculpture with a damp cloth without any detergent; preferably use a soft cloth to avoid scratching the surface.
• Do not clean the sculpture with a dry cloth, as this will only cause clouding the paint or scratches.
• It is important to note that high resistance paint is not for life. As with any material exposed to weather, we suggest keeping it waxed (use car wax) and polish after a time to restore shine and color to your piece.
