John Hudik

With over 53 years of retail and wholesale furnishing experience under his belt, John Hudik has seen it all. In college he studied architecture, but somehow ended up opening a furniture showroom in North Miami Beach in 1970, which ultimately led him to realize interior design as a necessity. And after all these years in the industry, there’s one saying that John has kept as his design motto: “Listen to your clients, and then make it work.”

John puts balance – size, color, proportion – lighting, textures and patterns at the forefront of his designs. “I love creating a very livable space that is exciting yet comfortable, and always fashion-forward.” And his personality is certainly helpful in that regard – when he takes charge of a situation, John loves to embrace the change that comes with it and remain passionate until the very end.

His love for design can be seen even in his spare time, where John enjoys flipping homes and condos as a personal hobby.
