Shawna graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design. Upon receiving her degree she accepted a design position within a well-established, nation-wide furniture showroom. Some years later she moved to San Francisco to continue her career in design, in managing a contemporary/transitional showroom in the San Francisco Design Center.
Most recently Shawna earned her certification specializing in kitchen and bath design from an NKBA accredited college in the San Francisco Bay Area. After completing the program she decided to relocate to the DFW area of Texas to further her career, in her love of interior design. This brought her to Cantoni. Here she can utilize her knowledge and passion for both furniture and kitchens in designing the entire home for her clients.
“It is my passion to create beautiful and functional spaces within the home for my clients that reflect both their style and character.” Shawna explains.
Throughout the years Shawna has mastered the art of listening, which has enabled her to efficiently assist her clients in the design process, by making it an easier and exciting experience. She is skilled in space planning, color coordination, lighting, window treatments, custom bedding, furniture selection, and kitchen and bath design.
