One week. Seven days, minus Sunday. At 12-hours a day, that’s around 72 hours. Why is this important? That’s the near-total length of time it took Cantoni’s Josh DeLaFuente and Elizabeth Lewis to create and execute the design plan—and deliver 99% of the furnishings—for this stunning unit on the 17th floor of Azure in downtown Dallas.
How is that possible? For starters, all the designers at Cantoni are pros with extensive experience tackling the challenges and limitations often found in high-rise buildings. Secondly, Cantoni maintains a massive in-stock inventory available for immediate delivery. And last, but definitely not least, Josh and Elizabeth are both exceptionally talented and have achieved amazing success within our company: Josh was the # 1 designer in our organization in 2011, and Elizabeth broke a 28-year record this January. The duo has worked together on previous occasions, and there’s nothing that drives them quite like an open-minded client on a time crunch. That’s really how this story begins.
Like many of our customers, the new owner of this impressive property came into the store with floor plan in hand, to browse our selection of sofas. He was leaving his traditional home and moving into one of Dallas’ premier high-rise residences, Azure, a 30-story architectural marvel offering exclusive amenities and units that boast sweeping views thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows.
Armed with first-hand knowledge of the building, it took our team mere minutes to create a design plan from the client’s floor plan. The overall look would work around a monochromatic scheme with sizable neutral pieces personalized with pops of color. “We chose the Bond sectional, with its wide arms and seam details, for comfort and a slightly masculine stance. Also, the Delta glass table extends to 10-feet, making it a space-saver that can be enlarged, when needed, for entertaining,” Elizabeth explains. “And keeping the more expensive anchor pieces classic allows for easy future updates with minimal effort,” adds Josh. “Down the line, a client can transform a room simply by swapping out decorative pillows, rugs, art, and accents.”
As is often the case, clients come into our store without knowledge of our extensive resources, including our large in-stock offerings, creative interior design services, and outstanding customer service. The success of this project, and the fact we were able to deliver 99% of the furnishings in a week, is a result of our Triple C Service: Cantoni. Customer. Commitment.
